Grocers for Good
The BC Cancer Foundation has announced the launch of its 2026 fundraising campaign Grocers Go Beyond. A volunteer-led effort by local grocery stores, the campaign is celebrating its fifth year, and will run February 27th to March 20.
We were proud to host our fellow grocers yesterday at our Oak Bay store location for the annual Grocers Going Beyond campaign to support BC Cancer Foundation. 
Participating alongside Red Barn Market, are Country Grocer, Thrifty Foods, Fairway Market and Tru Value Foods. The stores will sell gerbera potted flowers, with net proceeds from every plant sold being donated to the BC Cancer Foundation.
Funds raised will support the new BC Cancer – Nanaimo centre now under construction. This centre will help bring lifesaving care closer to home for patients north of the Malahat.
